Where To Stay

There is an abundance of hotels in Dubai with prices varying greatly. Before choosing one it’s important to consider what area you want to be in. Do you want to be on the beach or in the city? The beach hotels will cost more but then you’ll more than likely be able to step out and walk straight onto an area of private beach. On the other hand if you feel you’d like to visit various attractions around the Creek then you would spend a fair bit of time (and money) travelling if you were in a beach hotel so one in Deira / Bur Dubai would be more suitable. There are also hotels along Sheikh Zayed road, between beach and city.

Within each hotel there are usually numerous different room options, as you’ll see from the reviews one of our favourites is typically the “Royal Club” service offered by many hotels. This usually encompasses a club lounge serving drinks throughout the day plus afternoon tea and evening canapés and cocktails.

The hotels I’ve written about are all ones we have stayed in. Obviously they are just a tiny selection of the many available but they are all 5* and unlikely to disappoint.
